Companies in Burgos, Aranda and Miranda: the corporate account for visitors arriving at Rosa de Lima, Barajas or Loiu, industrial-estate staff and business trips, with one invoice a month

The corporate account is a way of paying and invoicing, with no fee and no minimum: authorised people book by phone, email, WhatsApp or API, every trip has its price fixed in advance, the traveller neither pays nor keeps receipts, and at month end one invoice arrives with VAT itemised and one line per job with date, route, passenger and cost centre. In Burgos it solves an awkward geography: Rosa de Lima station is in the north of the capital, far from the industrial estates and the old town; Aranda and Miranda have their own industry far from the station; and flights come in through Barajas or Loiu depending on the district. From Rosa de Lima to Aranda is 88 km; from Miranda to Loiu, 89 km.

How does a visitor reach a company in Burgos, Aranda or Miranda?

To the capital, by train to Rosa de Lima, on the high-speed network via Valladolid since 2022; the station is in the north of the city, far from the historic centre and the industrial estates, and the city bus does not always match the train or the time of a meeting. The job is booked with the train number and the plant or the office as destination, the app follows delays and the driver waits at the exit with the visitor's name. To Aranda de Duero the visitor usually comes by road from Madrid, along the A-1, or by train to Rosa de Lima and from there by car; to Miranda de Ebro, from Bilbao or Vitoria, and the booking is made the same way, with the flight or the train on the job.

Anyone arriving by air comes through Barajas if heading to the capital or the Ribera, and through Loiu if heading to Miranda, La Bureba or Las Merindades; Villafría airport has very little commercial traffic. The figures are the engine's, the same as for an individual: Rosa de Lima to Aranda de Duero, 88 km from 118,49 €; Burgos to Barajas, 233 km and about 156 min along the A-1, from 283,66 €. There is no surge or time-of-day surcharge: the price agreed at booking is the one on the invoice, including at San Pedro and San Pablo or during Sonorama, when the hotels fill up.

What do companies in the province ask for besides receiving visitors?

Staff, above all. The capital has large industrial estates with shift changes at hours when there is no bus; Aranda, agri-food industry and wineries; Miranda, industry and logistics around the rail hub, with workers who live in villages of La Bureba and the Ebro valley. The shift change is booked as one job with several stops: the company gives the clock-in time and the addresses, the platform works out the run with staggered pickups and one price for the whole thing, and if several cars are needed they are coordinated to the same clock-in time and invoiced together. A shift run that repeats is left fixed with the same driver, who knows the plant gate, including on public holidays, when the bus does not run.

Business trips: the departure to Rosa de Lima with a margin for the train, to Barajas or Loiu to fly, with the return booked to the flight; and meetings in Vitoria, Valladolid or Logroño when the train does not fit, which from Burgos does not always have a convenient direct connection. Fairs and conferences in Madrid, with IFEMA as destination: Burgos to IFEMA is 234 km, and a team that exhibits books the cars with staggered pickups and a single invoice. And the Ribera wineries that receive buyers and distributors from the station or from Madrid, with a wait at each visit and the driver as the one who knows the order of the wineries: Roa to Rosa de Lima, 89 km.

How is the account opened, and who may book?

From the companies page, with the tax details and the authorised people; there is no lock-in and no fee, and the account is opened through the normal sign-up and marked as a corporate one under billing. The usual setup is to authorise two or three people, reception, management and whoever organises the shifts, and have the rest go through them; it can also be opened to the whole team with a cap per job. Each booking is confirmed in writing with the route, time, passenger and price, and is tied to the cost centre named by whoever books. If the company would rather have its own system do it, there is an API with a key to quote, book and check the status of the job.

The fixed service is the formula for what repeats: the staff run each morning from Briviesca to Burgos, the technician who comes to the Aranda plant every week, a worker's periodic check-up at the University Hospital. It keeps the same driver, who already knows the address and the time, is kept for as many weeks or months as needed and is cancelled at no cost when it ends; at harvest time, the wineries use it for the crews, with staggered pickups in the villages and the same time every day. Briviesca to Burgos is 47 km.

What does the invoice include, and what if the train or the flight is late?

One grouped invoice a month, with VAT itemised at the reduced passenger-transport rate and one line per job with date, route, passenger, cost centre and amount; if the company works by cost centres, it comes broken down by centre, and it reconciles with the written confirmations of each booking. The traveller files no expense claim and advances no money. Each trip is performed by a partner under their own valid VTC authorisation or taxi licence, with a road sheet issued before it starts; if a partner fleet performs it, you are told who is driving before the pickup, not after.

If the visitor's train is late, the job carries the number and the app follows it: the pickup moves by itself and the published courtesy wait runs from the actual arrival; at Barajas and Loiu, with the flight number, the actual landing time is checked. If a meeting runs long, the driver is told by message and a wait or a new time is agreed; extended waiting is invoiced at the published rate and you are warned before it starts to count. In winter Somosierra, on the A-1, and the passes of Las Merindades can have snow or ice, and frost and fog are common in Burgos in the morning: for an early flight the pickup is brought forward at booking.

What other companies in the province use the account?

The hotels of Burgos, Aranda and Las Merindades, to take guests to Rosa de Lima, Barajas or Loiu with the charge on the room; the Ribera wineries, for wine-tourism visits and buyers; clinics and insurers, for unaccompanied transfers to appointments at the Burgos University Hospital with an escort to the door and the invoice to the insurer; schools, for outings with several cars to Atapuerca or Silos; and wedding and event organisers at the estates of the Arlanza and the Ribera. Each has its own page with what changes in its case; the account is the same.

The hospital deserves a separate note: the Burgos University Hospital is the reference hospital for the whole province and receives patients from distant districts, from Las Merindades to the Ribera, for whom an appointment takes the whole day. An insurer or an occupational health service books the outward trip, the wait and the return in the same job, with an escort to the outpatients door: Miranda de Ebro to the University Hospital, 82 km and about 65 min. It is a car with a driver to and from an appointment, not medical transport, and the knowledge-centre piece on non-urgent medical transfers explains where the line is.

Frequently asked questions

Does the corporate account have a fee or a lock-in?

No. It is a way of paying and invoicing: no fee, no minimum and no lock-in contract. With high volume a rate can be discussed, always in writing.

Barajas or Loiu for a visitor arriving by air?

It depends on the district: the capital and the Ribera are best reached via Barajas and the A-1; Miranda, La Bureba and Las Merindades via Loiu and the AP-68. In both cases the job is booked with the flight number and the pickup in arrivals.

What if the visitor's train arrives late at Rosa de Lima?

The job carries the train number and the app follows it: the pickup moves by itself and the published courtesy wait starts counting at the actual arrival, without anyone having to ring.

Can an industrial-estate shift change or a harvest crew run be fixed?

Yes: it is booked as one job with several stops and the same clock-in time, left fixed with the same driver for as many days or weeks as needed, including public holidays, and cancelled at no cost when it ends.

Can anyone in the office book?

It is decided when the account is opened: the norm is two or three authorised people, although it can be opened to the whole team with a cap per job. Each booking is confirmed in writing and carries its cost centre.

How we write, where the figures come from and how we correct an error: editorial policy.

The account's conditions (authorised people, caps, cost centres) are set when it is opened and can be adjusted later; the courtesy wait and the cancellation policy are those published on the companies page when opened. Kilometre, minute and price figures are those of the route engine when the page is opened; the VAT rate is the one published by the tax agency on the date consulted.
