Reliability

What we guarantee, exactly

No adjectives: what happens in each case. If any of this is not met, what you are owed is in writing.

The price does not change afterwards
You see the full amount before you confirm, with every surcharge or supplement on its own line, and it is fixed when you confirm: it does not change afterwards. It only varies if you alter the route, add stops or there is a long wait, and you are told before that happens.
Confirmed on the spot
If a car is free for your time, the booking is confirmed instantly with its tracking code. If it is not, we tell you straight away and offer the nearest time: we do not leave you waiting for an answer.
We assign the car that arrives soonest
You do not pick a driver or wait for someone to accept: the trip goes to the soonest available licensed car for your time and area. And you are not left with an anonymous stranger: before pickup you have the plate, the model and the driver's name, and while the car is on its way you can follow it on the map and call.
We wait at no charge
15 complimentary minutes at airports and stations, and 5 at an address. The clock starts when the car reaches the pickup point, not at the booked time: if the driver is late, you do not pay for those minutes.
To the airport, by the toll road if needed
For airport destinations, if traffic calls for it, the route along the radial toll motorways is included at no cost provided there are at least 3 hours between pickup and the flight's departure. With less margin, the toll is itemised in the quote like any other.
Free cancellation
More than 24 hours ahead you get a full refund. After that the published policy applies, and it is written down before you pay rather than afterwards.
We check your flight
With the flight number we check the arrival time before setting off and adjust the pickup at no cost. The car waits 15 minutes at no charge, counted from when the driver arrives.
Every trip, documented
Before departure the route sheet is issued and filed with the register Spanish transport rules require. It is not red tape: it is the difference between a legal service and one that is not.
What the law limits

We only sell what we are allowed to provide

Transfers are provided by our partner taxi and private hire (VTC) operators, each under their own licence or authorisation, and each licence allows some things and not others. That is applied before you get a price, not after you are charged: when no partner can serve the trip under their licence, it does not come with an amount or a booking button. We tell you why, and who can take you instead.

Within one municipality a VTC operator cannot drive you
A VTC authorisation covers intercity transport: from one town to another. A trip that starts and ends inside the same municipality is urban service and belongs to licensed taxis, because Castilla y León has not opened it to VTC operators. The quote engine checks that before pricing: if the trip is internal there is no amount and no booking button; we tell you why, and that the local taxi is who takes you there. And there is no exception for convenience: without a taxi licence behind it, that trip is not accepted through any channel — not the website, not WhatsApp, not the phone.
The tariff set by the town hall is not touched
When the trip is served by a licensed taxi, we do not set the price: the town's by-law does — flag drop, per-kilometre bands, minimum fare and scheduled supplements — and that is what the system works out and charges. 69 by-laws have been loaded and checked against the published document, and the calculation reproduces them. No platform discount below and no surcharge above: a price that is not the by-law's is not an offer, it is a breach the driver answers for.
There is nothing to hail: the service is booked beforehand
A VTC cannot be hailed in the street or wait at a rank. Every service is booked before it starts and is recorded with the exact time of booking, which is the one carried onto the route sheet. For you that has one concrete advantage: before leaving home you know the price, the car and who is driving.
The 20% rule, counted trip by trip
Our partner VTC operators' cars must habitually serve transport needs connected with Castilla y León: a trip that both starts and ends outside the region counts against a 20% limit, and exceeding it costs the holder their authorisation. Every booking is classified by the region of pickup and of destination, the back office keeps the monthly and yearly count and warns before the margin runs out. We would rather turn down a transfer that is not ours than put the driver's licence at risk.

Every line above is a fare we do not take and someone else would. We give them up on purpose, because a service that cannot legally be provided is not cheaper: it is the one that leaves no car at your door and the driver facing a penalty notice. If another app quotes you for a trip that starts and ends inside your own town, ask which licence it is served under; the fine is not paid by the app.

Within Burgos and to neighbouring provinces

It is not all about Madrid: we also drive between the towns of the province, to its stations, hospitals and sights, and to the surrounding capitals, at the same fixed price.

The province of Burgos, area by area

Burgos province is large and spread out: the capital in the middle, Aranda de Duero and the Ribera to the south, Miranda de Ebro on the border with Álava and La Rioja, and Las Merindades to the north, already facing Cantabria and Bizkaia. Each area has its own reference airport — Barajas for the south and the capital, Bilbao for the north — and the A-1 is the spine linking them with Madrid and the Basque Country.

Alfoz de Burgos

The city of Burgos holds the university hospital, Rosa de Lima station, the cathedral and the Museum of Human Evolution, and is where the whole province comes for appointments and paperwork. It also has large industrial estates, with shift changes at hours when there are no buses.

Ribera del Duero burgalesa

Aranda de Duero is the capital of the Ribera del Duero, with its own industry and underground wine cellars beneath the old town. Winery routes along the valley are the typical transfer here: whoever is tasting does not want to drive back.

Arlanza

Lerma, with its ducal palace and arcaded square, is the main town of the Arlanza area, on the A-1 between Burgos and Aranda. Covarrubias and Santo Domingo de Silos are within reach from here, and the capital is the reference for hospital and trains.

La Bureba

Briviesca is the capital of La Bureba, a farming area between Burgos and Miranda de Ebro crossed by the AP-1 and the N-I. Its residents split between the capital, for the hospital, and Miranda or Vitoria, for work and trains.

Miranda y el valle del Ebro

Miranda de Ebro is a rail and industrial hub on the border with Álava and La Rioja, closer to Vitoria than to its own provincial capital. Much of its travel heads to the Basque Country, including Bilbao airport.

Las Merindades

Las Merindades cover the north of the province, with green valleys, gorges and small villages, and Medina de Pomar and Villarcayo as main towns. They are far from the capital by mountain roads and closer to Bizkaia and Cantabria, and in summer they fill with second homes.

Busiest times of year

  • San Pedro and San Pablo fiestas (late June): Burgos's main fiestas fill the city with concerts and events for several days, with many people heading back at night to the surrounding villages after public transport has finished.
  • Ribera del Duero grape harvest (September and October): In autumn the wineries of Aranda and the Burgos Ribera receive more visitors, and weekend routes are booked well ahead. Anyone planning to taste should book the car both ways at once.
  • Sonorama Ribera (August): Aranda de Duero's music festival fills the town for several days in August, with concerts ending in the early hours and many arrivals and departures from Madrid along the A-1.
  • The Camino de Santiago through Burgos (spring to autumn): The French Way crosses the province from east to west through the capital, and in season there are pilgrims who need to reach the start of a stage or return home from Burgos with their pack.
  • Summer at Atapuerca (summer): In summer, with the excavation season and holidays, visits to the sites and the museum rise and guided tour places sell out sooner: it is best to have the booking confirmed before arranging the transfer.

Booking tips

  • In winter the Somosierra pass on the A-1 can have snow or ice: for an early flight at Barajas it is worth leaving earlier and checking road conditions.
  • If you are leaving from Miranda de Ebro or Las Merindades, compare flights from Bilbao before booking to Barajas: the airport run can be much shorter.
  • For a winery route through the Ribera, book the visits first and give the driver the order and time of each one: wineries work to fixed schedules.
  • Frost and fog are common on winter mornings in Burgos; on the roads of Las Merindades or the hills, expect to travel more slowly.

Where we take most people

All destinations

Places where a car with a driver beats driving yourself: because of the timetable, the parking or because nobody wants to drive back.

Madrid South bus station

from 198 €

Estación Sur is the long-distance coach hub for half of Spain, in Méndez Álvaro, away from the centre. With luggage, a seven o'clock connection or a night arrival, a door-to-door transfer pays for itself.

See prices and times →

IFEMA and Madrid trade fairs

from 187 €

During a trade fair the problem is not getting there: it is arriving on time with two colleagues, the stand material and no parking hunt. We cover whole fairs with staggered pickups and month-end invoicing.

See prices and times →

Burgos-Rosa de Lima station

from 18 €

Rosa de Lima sits north of the city, away from the centre and the cathedral, and it serves the whole province: from Aranda, Miranda or Villarcayo you get there by car or not at all.

See prices and times →

Burgos University Hospital

from 18 €

The HUBU sits on the edge of town by the Logroño road and receives patients from Aranda, Miranda and Las Merindades, over an hour away. With an early appointment and nobody to drive, a car with driver is the practical answer.

See prices and times →

Burgos Cathedral

from 18 €

Burgos's old town is pedestrianised around the cathedral and the station sits north of the city. Anyone arriving by train or from the province is glad to be dropped at the Santa María arch rather than fifteen minutes away.

See prices and times →

Atapuerca archaeological sites

from 31 €

The Atapuerca visit starts at Ibeas or at Atapuerca village, twenty kilometres from Burgos, and has a fixed entry time. Without your own car there is no reasonable way to make that slot and get back to the museum.

See prices and times →

Madrid hospitals

from 209 €

An early specialist appointment in Madrid means leaving before dawn, and coming back means waiting for a bus after a procedure. A door-to-door transfer avoids both: you leave at a reasonable hour and return when the patient is ready.

See prices and times →

Parque Warner Madrid

from 240 €

A theme-park day with children ends with everyone tired, and that is exactly when someone has to drive an hour home. With a driver, someone else handles the return and the whole group travels together in one vehicle.

See prices and times →

Matches and concerts in Madrid

from 209 €

A night match or a concert ends after the last train back to Castilla y León has gone. With a driver you go and return the same night, without driving after the game and without circling for a parking space two kilometres from the ground.

See prices and times →

Ribera del Duero wineries

from 38 €

A winery visit ends with a tasting, and the arithmetic is simple: either someone goes without or nobody drives. With a driver you can string together two or three wineries between Aranda and Peñafiel and head home without thinking about the road.

Advance booking

How it works

You request the trip, we give you the fixed price and assign the car that can reach your pickup soonest. Because a Spanish VTC cannot be hailed and everything is booked in advance, you know the price, the car and the driver before you leave home.

  1. 1

    Book in advance

Request on the map, fill in the form or call us. Advance booking is mandatory for Spanish private hire: we cannot pick you up without one.

  2. 2

See the fixed price before giving your details

The price appears at once and the soonest available car is assigned for your time. You can pay online by card when you confirm (Apple Pay and Google Pay if your phone has them). The amount is the one agreed: it does not change on the way.

  3. 3

    We issue the route sheet

Before the trip starts we generate and file the paperwork required by Spanish transport regulations.

  4. 4

We pick you up on time

Before pickup you know who is coming: their name, their phone and the car's plate. And you can follow the car on the map on its way.

Our fleet

The vehicles the service runs on. You choose the class; we assign the actual car — the one that reaches your pickup soonest — and tell you which it is, with its plate and the name of the driver.

We are updating the fleet details. Ask us about the vehicle when booking and we will confirm it.

Approved child seats at no extra cost and passenger insurance in force. Inspections up to date.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a private hire car and a taxi?

A Spanish private hire vehicle may only carry out pre-booked services: it cannot pick up passengers in the street or wait at ranks. That is why everything goes through advance booking, with the price fixed before the trip and the service paperwork issued beforehand.

Is there Uber, Cabify or Bolt in Castilla y León?

The big apps do not cover Castilla y León the way they cover Madrid or Barcelona. In most towns in Ávila, Burgos, León, Palencia, Salamanca, Segovia, Soria, Valladolid and Zamora there is no Uber, Cabify or Bolt with the same coverage. That is why we publish, town by town and with a date, what is actually there, and offer pre-booked private hire at a fixed price as an alternative.

Can you take me within my own town?

It depends on the town. A Spanish private hire authorisation covers intercity transport, while urban trips — those starting and ending in the same town — are reserved for taxis unless a licence covers them. Where we can do it, the booking form prices it like any other trip; where we cannot, we tell you straight away and why, before you fill in any details.

How far in advance should I book?

The earlier the better, especially for early flights. For airport transfers we recommend booking the day before; same-day requests depend on availability and always require advance booking.

Is the price I see the final price?

When it says “closed price”, yes: VAT included, fixed when you confirm, and it would only change if you alter the route, add stops or there is a long wait, and you are told first. There are two cases where the screen says something else: an “on request” vehicle is confirmed before anything is charged, and if you pick a driver's bid you pay that price on its conditions (no time change and no refundable cancellation). The price comes from our fare, or from the fare of the fleet that runs it if it has an approved one; if you don't pick anyone, you pay our fare.

What if my flight or train is delayed?

If you give us the flight or train number we adjust the pickup to the actual arrival time, and the waiting included at airports and stations is more generous than at an address: the exact minutes are in the terms of service.

How do I pay?

You can pay online by card when you confirm (Apple Pay and Google Pay if your phone has them). The amount is the one agreed: it does not change on the way.

Do you issue company invoices?

Yes. Enter your tax details when booking and you will receive an invoice with VAT broken out. For companies with recurring travel we offer consolidated monthly invoicing.

Do you provide child seats?

Yes, we carry approved child restraint systems. Tell us the child's age and weight when booking so we fit the right seat, at no extra cost.

Shall we book your transfer?

Tell us where, when and how many. We confirm a fixed price and the vehicle within minutes.
